We had the 4th best defence in the Championship last season even though we only just escaped relegation.

Kamara smashed best chance of the 1st half over the bar

It’s a crap game but it’s also a friendly. At least we’re not been embarrassed.

Typical preseason game, particularly when it's 35 degrees. Tinsdale has done okay, Hughes as well. Kamara doesn't look interested, but to be fair he never does.

Jesus wept (in an Irish accent).

Which players? Exactly who did what to bring you to that conclusion.

Maybe that's my problem Peter. I'm pretty sure I paid annually about a year ago just before last season started. given they're not responding to my e-mails I think I'll Skype/Zoom the club on Monday. I've obviously missed some communication about a change somewhere along the line. Bloody memory is failing me rapidly ! Thanks for the feedback anyway.:emoticon-0150-hands

I think Ajayi will be a good signing if he can keep fit. Other than that, I’m struggling to name positives right now. Was looking forward to seeing Laalaoui as well but that’s gone down the pan.

I think back to last season and remember just how ****ing terrible a choice TW was. It wasn’t just that we were unlucky with injuries, the tactics were appallingly bad and the players weren’t happy with it. Bad morale meant players were underperforming, nobody knew what they were doing and we couldn’t score to save our lives.

We lost half a season to that ****e, so for me the squad we have now would survive okay with a couple of additions. But this whole debacle means it’ll be another year without any significant progress and that’s what concerns me. Before the season starts there should be an air of confidence, but when was the last time anybody felt confidence in finishing high up the table at the start of a season? Under Rosie? Maybe. Before then? League One season under Grant probably. Then I’d have to go back to the Bruce days for any real confidence.
