Got to admit we all did too. I think Noble would have had the same impact as McClean but he wasn't afforded the opportunity unfortunately.
You have to wonder what he must do to get a game really. 3 hat tricks in 4 games; 11 goals in 5 in the reserves and yet Ji, who just doesn't look like a player to me, gets the nod over him.

My big fear is if he starts to see his future elsewhere and we miss out on a little cracker of a player. It's not a criticism of the new manager as he has just got here but I only hope that o neill gives him a fair shout over the coming weeks.

O'neil has said that Noble isnt strong enough yet due to his recent injuries. I reckon his growing has affected his back, and now they want to spend some time strengthening it (and the rest of him) before throwing him in. Would explain why he is only playing the 2nd half in the reserve games as well.
I didnt like it when Bruce just said "when he takes his top off he looks like a boy" cos that was just plain insulting, but at least Oniel points out his injuries as the main reason.

I don't deny that a full 90 would be maybe too much but in all honesty, he would offer much more than Ji for a 15 minute spell don't you think?

I think Ji looks a million miles away from a player imo. I hope if is not just a PR exercise to bring some Korean investors on board, used at the cost of developing our own home grown lads.

Regardless of his physical state, the lad has scored 3 hat tricks in 4 games and has 11 in 5 games. He is 20 now, not 17 and has to be knocking on the door of the first team, or he should be looking to get away.

I would prefer the former and to be honest, fear the latter.
