Yep. And they should be allowed to go in pubs and clubs to get drunk, get married without their parents agreeing. The age of voting has always been known as the age of consent so if you are willing to accept all 16 year olds are fully equipped for adulthood then let's go with it .
Kids have drunk underage in pubs for time immemorial. Like Jethro Tull might have said, you're stuck in times past.
You can be thick at times. I managed to get in pubs from 16 onwards but only certain ones. My Son and his mates used to all get beer from shops and get pissed in the park. Like you said it has gone on for ever. Do you think making it legal will help matters then and is a good idea or do you think/ want to move down to 14yo next year then 12 the year after?
As i said earlier, Corbyn foisted this idea on us first and went on to have live bands at his rallies to attract the kids because he knew they couldn't give a **** about politics at that age but might vote for music they liked.
