Don't think MON will start Maclean at Spurs tbh. I think he will try to keep it tight for as long as possible.
Second half impact sub maybe, then start him at home with crowd right behind him.
Vaughan will improve with games, as will Meyler. Long road back for Catts.
Looking forward to the window asneed 5 players in January.
    rb,lb,(quality)cm, 2 forwards.

Syd I still do not think Sess's best position is 'in the hole' even Rico may be better there. I know he did not score and missed a sitter but at least he foes for it. Leave Sess on the LW at first. McClean can come on later in the game.

Noble as a lone striker? Wouldnt work and wouldnt be fair on the lad. He is a poacher not a target man.

Also not sure if we should start maclean - use him as an impact sub maybe and give him 30 minutes (time to adjust to the prem league).

But how many times are we going to see sess beat the man then not play a ball in when on the left before realising he cant play there.

i certainly want McClean to play at some point (and not 4 minutes ala Bruce). Fast direct wing play is what Spurs do to others. Very few teams do it to them. A bit of a shock for them maybe?

Its hard to tinker with a winning team unless Bendtner recovers to full fitness and Wickham is not fully fit. Whoever we put out this is going to be a hard hard game and the roles could be reversed from this Sunday with us doing most of the defending. As exciting as McClean was i dont think we will have the ball enough to use him like against Blackburn. Blackburn were fully in defence mode and with injuries and not being able to replace the Yak who's fitness was awful helped a great deal. I know Spurs got beat on Sunday but they look so dangerous and id take a point now!
