He can play as an inverted striker next to Isak.

Think it’ll be out of the blue, but nobody is leaving Madrid for Newcastle mate.

Woltemade looks a good shout, lot of similar attributes, height, versatility,

I’m just bored of the Ekitike thing now and how much we piss about doing deals.

We are supposed to be a top six premiership club not a bottom feeder trying to get loose ends.

Pay the money for the big players or stop pissing about trying.

Not many clubs can afford to reject a £120m offer for one player mate. :emoticon-0148-yes:

We don’t know an offer came in and I think we just told Liverpool to **** off.

We can’t expect other clubs to bend over while we ask for top dollar.

A lot of our fans on Twitter are right wet wipes.

Saying that we should move on. Jeez, according to rumours he's happy to join. It's us, as usual, dilly dallying

Yeah, at the moment, everything is just speculation, as half the media reports are either copied from others, or a made up guess to help generate clicks. Let's just let it play out. But yes, the club does need to get better at sorting things quickly once official talks commence.

The problem we’re going to have is now going to target d, e and f to try and convince them they were who we really wanted all along.

At this point I’m worried chaos might get this right and we end up with ****ing DCL.

It's a really puzzling one with our scouts. I'd be really reluctant to pay 2.5 times as much for a player I had a fee agreed with two years ago. He's got some talent, but I don't get from him what I got from Isak. His highlight reel is less impressive than Nunez.

I look across Europe from a computer screen and a desk - there is no European football for Leipzig (Openda, Sesko, Nusa), Stuttgart (Woltemade, Stiller), Sociedad (Kubo), Milan (Leao, Gimenez, Thiaw), Bologna (Castro). Arsenal moved for Zubimendi from these clubs, for me this is the time to get in there and grab some real talent, as we did with Isak, as we did with Botman.

I think Openda is a better fit from Leipzig - more Pedro-like, drifts, can play off Isak. Sesko is a straight up striker. However, Woltemade would be a FAR better choice, has a lot more skill and versatility.

Woltemade also has far less pace than all other strikers we've been trying for.

Sounds like we've refused to enter a bidding war.
