I'm very sorry to hear that you've had such a rough time and I'm rooting for your 5th annual check up to be all clearPlease keep us posted and give us some good news. I went through all the scans,examinations,camera into the bladder etc and thankfully mine came back as BPH(Enlarged but benign).I get a once yearly PSA and sometimes a DRE(active surveillance like yourself) take tablets to try and reduce it's size and to relax things down below to ease peeing. My Father had prostrate cancer for 15-20 years and when his was discovered they tried some procedure at the time called Brachytherapy whereby he had some sort of radium seeds injected directly into his prostrate(I'm not sure they use that anymore).Anyway,he died of old age!!! Think we can forget McBurnie based on his wage demands. Petković isn’t cheap either as he wants €2M-a-year which is just over £33K-a-week but it’s not as daft as what McBurnie reportedly wants.
I have a feeling if no one pays him what he demands he might end up back with us, I see that state of play changing yet again.

Went round Buckfast Abbey a few years ago. There and the attractive gardens make for a pleasant few hours.
I'm surprised there are so many posts in favour of us spending 30 or 40k a week on a player, given our current predicament.
I doubt that McBurnie is the answer and think the effect on morale for other lower paid players could be catastrophic. But I also can’t argue with the principle that the cost of getting relegated due to not scoring enough goals massively outweighs £40K per week. Though the cost of going bust is even higher I guess. It’s not straightforward is it?
Cheers Ric, really appreciate the kind and supportive comments. To be honest the recovery from the operation etc. wasn’t too bad after the first few weeks, certainly better than the alternative! I didn’t have any real health issues until I hit my mid 50’s and since then I seem to have been diagnosed with every medical condition that either of my parents had but such is life, just got to deal with it. I’m only 2 years and 4 months (not counting at all) away from official retirement age but still working full time, although I have just requested a reduction to 4 days at the end of this year and 3 at the end of next. Depending on how I, and they feel after that, I might carry on doing a day or two for a couple of years after that but then again, I’ll probably have had enough by then. Hope you have some better luck on the job front soon.
