Great left back, he’ll get plenty of goal contributions. Ordenez will get a move to an elite club. I really enjoyed watching that club play last season, they had one of the youngest and most exciting teams in Europe and now it’s being ripped apart. I’d take Romero from them mind, he’s a left footed centre back. Maybe Talbi could put a word in.

I didn’t know about that with Brighton. I wasn’t aware of him until the City game. I was working in Manchester and my client told me he could get me and my mate tickets if we wanted to go along, so I snapped his hands off. I’d never been to a champions league game before. You could see Club Brugge were a bunch of kids but they were so impressive. Bundles of energy and I’ve never seen a team transition so quick from defence to attack. Jashari was the main guy, he made them tick turning the ball over and sending them away up the pitch. Ordonez was very good, he showed all the attributes of an elite CB that night.

 

He’s 33 next week and will be on canny wages, no doubt. Just don’t think he’s what they need
