Get on the Newcastle Cyber Queen thread and defend your honour.
Aye. Weird end.
Very strange. It was clever though. I like the way they showed it just after the X Factor final.

Yeah very fitting
I thought he was going to kill himself at the end, Brooker's stuff isnt famed for happy endings.
EDIT: not sure I would call that a happy ending though

I thought he'd either kill himself or just not accept it.
And yeah, still quite a depressing ending really
Very 1984 I thought, at points.
It was also written by 'Kanak Huq' apparently. Didn't realise that was Konnie Huq's real name!
Next week's isn't written by Brooker. Jesse Armstrong instead, Peep Show guy!
Really, I thought the whole series was Brooker? What's next week about?
It was quite interesting but last week there was sort of a message, like how easily the world can be manipulated or something, but this week's was just weird.
I'm sure Brooker might have had some say in it, but it just says it was written by Jesse Armstrong.
). Very dystopian. Parts of it, I thought, were and are scarily true.According to Wikipedia, so it could be wrongI'm sure Brooker might have had some say in it, but it just says it was written by Jesse Armstrong.
Not sure, by the looks of the previews afterwards something to do with a guy who can re live his past and life or something.
To be honest I thought this week's had that sort of 'this is what it could be like, what we're turning into' type message feel to it. All people seem to care about nowadays is entertainment, distractions, mindless crap just to keep you through the day, every day. With the whole reality talent show thing and the use of the Xbox/Wii style avatars in it as well, especially. We're all here just for the entertainment of everybody else, and all people are doing is portraying themselves online through graphics and images (or, much like we're doing now). Very dystopian. Parts of it, I thought, were and are scarily true.

Aye I see what you mean. Conform and be on TV/porn or be imprisoned
Weirdly you can imagine the world ending up like that.

Aye, I thought he'd end up being a porn star so he could be with the girl
But yeah, as you say, all he ended up doing was selling out and conforming. Quite clichéd I suppose, but still good. Looking forward to next week's. Shame there's only 3!
9826 posts left to meet the New Year target lads. Keep up the good work.
“@SkySportsMobile: Shane Warne could miss the start of the Twenty20 Big Bash League after suffering serious burns to his hand while cooking a bacon sandwich.”
That's a new one!
I don't think he really ended up selling out, so to speak, I think the main character was supposed to be Brooker, working within the media itself whilst at the same time being furious with the narcissistic nature of it all.
