First Goal Yesterday.

A controversial decision five minutes before the break led to Norwich's opener when the linesman gave a corner after Krul looked to have kept a cross from the left in play. At worst, it should have been a goal kick unless the cross was deflected.

Tim's body was behind the line but his arms were outstretched and his hands and the ball were still in play.

I haven't got a pic of the incident but this photo gives a good idea of the position I was in and I had a clear view of what happened and once again the officials got it wrong.

I hope the loss of those 3 points aren't going to cost us dearly.

 

Definitely not a corner, Krul didn't carry the ball backwards, which he would have to have done for it to be a corner

 

Was there any close ups of it on MOTD do you know? I got back too late to catch it.

 

Not too close up, but Hansen said it was never a corner

 

Well if Hansen said that, it musn't have been. He wouldn't give us too much.

 

Thought it was out before it got to Krul personally, to be fair you have to remember that we did level before half time, so think we have to take the defeat on the chin and admit the better team on the day won.

 

We still won by 2 goals, just accept the defeat to ****ty little Norwich and move on

 

Not complaining about the defeat but there was no way Krul could have taken it out without stepping backwards.

 

Definitely not a corner. Krul either held it in OR it was out before he even touched it. He was moving forward when he caught the ball. For it to have been a corner he would've needed to catch it in play and then move backwards. Ridiculous decision but they probably should've had a penalty!

Doesn't really matter, we weren't good enough to deserve the win/draw, plus Santon got away with a handball. Swings and roundabouts.

 

We weren't, but the standard of officiating in the Prem recently has been appalling, so many bad decisions. Obviously the officials can't be expected to get everything right but they are getting a lot of major incidents wrong.

 

No one said you didn't deserve to win? I think you'll find we have all accepted the defeat, we're still allowed to discuss whether a controversial decision that went against us was correct or not, surely?

 

Nobody is denying that Norwich were the better team and deserved to win. I think we all feel that way.

Yes, that was pointed out in post 11 but what we're pointing out is the number of wrong decisions being made by the officials.

 

Shocking, really. Take into consideration all the bad decisions in today's Stoke-Spurs match too.

You are a good side but we get lucky against you, we won in the pre season friendly, and scored a half way line screamer and an injury time winner last time we were in the Prem.........Just happens sometimes
