He’s such a quality player though, I think he’ll be able to play in the prem for another 3 years or so easily.
Genuinely think el Khannous is brilliant, I thought he stood out as leicesters best player by a long shot but we all see different things. Ruud also decided to deploy him out of position as effectively a left winger for most of the season which negated a lot of the best parts of his game to dictate play from the midfield. But I also don't really like enciso, he's less about providing consistent benefits to the team in possession and more about a couple moments of magic - looks good in highlights. But I suppose it comes down to how I think they'd suit our team and our number 10 needs to be able to play deepers too and I don't think enciso can, he's more versatile in that he could play left wing but we don't really need that.
I agree, thats why I think a 4/4/2 is one of our better options, using Wilson and Mayenda up front. But whatever the formation Mayenda should be included, he is our best forward by some distance imo.
I'd hope the club offer an incentivised deal, whereby Neil is offered more this coming season, then more the seasons after if he cuts it in the Premier. Hopefully they can all agree on a deal which enables him to retain the captaincy... it's going to be hard work. Hope he gets it resolved soon.
I don't think we will start 2 CFs in many games next season, we will need an AM to help us control games more imo I didn't think we looked good in a traditional 442 in the championship let alone the PL. Mayenda should be starting the season as our main striker but I'm def not against him playing wider as it might suit him more while he gets used to playing with his back to goal
Yeah he's back either August or September but bizarre to target a player who hasn't played for 9months and wasn't even very good before.
That's fair. Sure I saw somewhere his release clause is 20m not 25m, if we could get him for like 15-18m I think that would be fair
