When N.P left to go to Leicester they were 2 points behind City, 6 games later and those highly paid prima donnas sit 6 points behind us. Seems we got the better deal with Nicky boy.
Not another Leicester thread, move on ffs. We'ved just won 3 on the trot and all you can talk about is some team we have no rivalry whatsoever with. For a start it's only December and both our seasons can change dramamtically, so i'd suggest waiting until May, to write this sort of thing.
Also trivial, but would it be wrong of me to suggest, that we may have also played better opposistion ?
Nothing wrong with the thread Miff33 ... If you have something to say involving the Tigers then carry one posting, Nice bit of trivia, it passes the time, I just hope we keep increasing the gap in points between the two sides.
We win all our remaining games and we'll finish above all the teams below us. FACT. We win all or remaining games and we'll win the league. NON FACT. That's because one of the teams above us might win all of their games as well.
I'll be more ahppier to above them once the season ends, but the table does make pleasent reading at the moment!
I never thought he was **** , the opposite in fact. However, after hearing his interview yesterday I must say he uses the same old excuses why his teams don't score.
Actually due to living in Leicester it bares a rivalry for me. It's the game I always want to win the most, so I can abuse the majority of my mates and not get bombarded like baghdad by delusional Leicester fans who think they've already bought the league and rightfully deserve to be competing in Europe in the next 3 seasons due to them being a huge club with a fantastic fan base that could easily sell out 60000 seats in the prem. Oh how I love the banter round here!!
I never did either I forgot to put the whistling smiley in there. He was very dull and one dimensional in all respects though, but certainly knew how to command respect from his yes men and create a good vibe. He failed miserably at handling personalities though as he proved with bollard, think that will be his biggest hurdle at Leicester.
I don't live in Leicester but work there and I have to say the "Leicester fans" have been significant by their absence over the last week (having told me they were looking forward to the three points guaranteed when they visited us).
Pearson was overly defensive and dour, but not a '****' manager, for his faults he gave us our best away run in our history, we're not missing him though are we it has to be said!
In fairness he was also responsible for serving up some of the worst football I have seen City play in years. He was also the dullest mother ****er I have ever heard interviewed on the radio. Thank **** he isn't polluting our airwaves anymore.
I enjoyed listening to him when he was our manager but I tried again after a leicester match when he joined them and I had to turn it off after a minute or so.. Good manager but NB has just given us a bit more of an attacking imputus, he wants the fans to like the football, he's said so on record.. he wants the fans to be proud of their team.. we are showing it.. there is more atmosphere at the games.. City fans never loves Pearson, they admired his work but what's done is done, NB is doing well so far and long may it continue
