Well it would have to be either Gordon or Barnes as they are both left sided.

 

Yeah but Gordon Elanga Isak and Ekitike can play anywhere across the front 3 or as a 10... Barnes isn't as universal and another club might buy a square peg for a square hole.

The thing is that most the neanderthals don't know that Ekitike is very versatile... They think it's one or the other to start, but both will play and the front 3 will move constantly if required. He's also younger than Isak and paves the way for a future sale potentially.

In all honesty I don't think Newcastle will get him though.... I have a feeling Gordon might go not Isak if it does actually happen... Gordon's stats are not good enough when you look at them overall and I think he'd want to play for pool.

 

I think there is genuine interest in Ekitike. If we bought him and sold Gordon to Liverpool the fees would be 15m apart. We could easily get 70m for Gordon.

Pay 85m for Ekitike and we are laughing.

 

Look at his goals and in particular the work coming in from the left and right
