Foy probably wouldn't have seen that, either. <grr>

Let's not forget that Stoke had a goal ruled out in the same fixture last season for 2-2.

Spurs can't really complain that it didn't go their way this time around.

A quote from a certain Spurs fan:

"...this is one of the biggest injustices since maradona punched us out of the world cup"

Except that they didn't and their goal should've been disallowed for a foul on the keeper.

I think Stoke felt equally aggrieved about that as Spurs fans do today ....

Perhaps they should've watched the footage of the game, then?
Huth spent all day fouling the keeper, including for both the goal that was given and the one that they think crossed the line.
Foy was **** that day too, but it was against Spurs again, not in our favour.

We've had some luck this season (Cahill shouldn't have gone last week), but we certainly didn't against Stoke that day.

You have to hand it to Stoke though, they played really well, especially in the first half. It must have been especially difficult for Spurs fans to swallow, seeing four of their former players helping to hand defeat to them. One of them scoring both of Stoke's goals ....

Stoke really did press from the front in the first half. It was very impressive.

They started very well and we really didn't, but I had no problem with our ex-players doing well against us.
None of them left under a cloud, so I wish them all well.

Also Stoke have a new guy to take the throw ins. And this bloke looks like he can actually play a bit of football. <yikes>

Yeah but is he any good at cleaning the ball with his shirt, wiping his hands on a towel, bouncing the ball a few times and generally time wasting ? <whistle>

Yes, he was excellent at it.
He even had a little undershirt thingy to keep the ball nice and clean and took at least 30 seconds on each throw.

Delap may as well retire now.

Yes, sorry, I should have put that in the past tense - We have obviousy developed panic antibodies. Spurs on the other hand have come down with a bad case of panic.
