    Yep. You went to the match today. You went to the match two weeks ago - so what? But it's not the same, is it? I feel all-round happier, more energetic than then. I walk up to the stadium as though I want to be there, rather than it being a chore. You're right, it does make a lot of difference.

    (Did you know shipyard productivity on the Wear rose by 12.5% in summer of '73? I'd stick that up in the dressing room at the SoL so no player could ever forget what a good/bad performance by them really means in this city).

    Today meant a lot.
