    Bad management
He's unlikely to get much back given the footballing debts

No, I’m not daft, although I may come across like that.

I know I & a lot of others are blaming Acun for this **** up, but surely there’s an accountant in all this who’s been advising him, or is this not the case?

The article revealed we are owed no further cash for greaves or Philogene. That changes things massively.

It doesn’t really change things “massively” though does it?

You weren’t exactly sitting on the fence before this “reveal” so it changes nothing for you. Similarly it changes nothing for me as i had already assumed Acun was bankrolling the transfers to the maximum allowed within the permitted spending limits including maximising the structure of the payments to maximise that spending power.

Clearly Acun has been advised to wait for the outcome of the appeal. The severity (or not ) of the final decision will be the only factor that influences matters in terms of his appetite to continue. If the initial ruling is upheld (effectively meaning we have next to no chance of promotion this season or next) then yes i can see him being too impatient to stick with the “project”.

At the other extreme, a suspended sentence will likely see two new strikers come through the door within a week of that decision been announced.

Yes there has been. He's had fair warning but largely ignored it chasing his 'dreams'.

Hull city isn't run in a traditional way. Let's put it that way.

    Yeah, you're totally a plant.

    **** off.

7m worth of strikers coming through the door on 60 k a week for one and the other on the never-never, when we can't pay our bills already ain't gonna convince the EFL.

    Good try though.

Honestly, what are you trying to achieve here?

Even less credibility for your messiah?

Incidentally, do you do TripAdvisor reviews for Botanic by any chance?

Hey? I literally posted that the 22m of fees owing aren't a concern since we still had cash owing, and now they are a concern. It changes things massively. Not having close to 30m of cash to still come through the door isn't a big deal to you?

This has nothing to do with psr capability and everything to do with cash flow.

Not only that, the implication is we sold them at a 'cost benefit' for cash up front.

But I suspect that's not a surprise for some.

After Leicester got away with it last time, they changed the rules and Leicester are definitely getting punished ahead of next season.

Bad management, our transfer business has been appalling and as things stand currently, Acun’s has zero chance of getting his money back.

I’ve said this from the off, Acun needed to park his ego from day one and hire a CEO. Let someone with the right skillset run the club and he could have just sat back and taken the credit.

The awful transfer decisions, overspending and cash flow issues wouldn’t have happened if he hired the right person. But instead he made himself and his mates directors, and they’ve run a debt feee, stable club into the ground in three years.

I always say you can only judge an owner once they sell the club, a good owner will leave the club in a better place than they found it. Everything that happens in between is just noise, usually some of it good and some of it bad.

The Allams for all their flaws were good owners in the sense they took a the club from the brink of financial ruin and sold it when it was debt free and stable. The same goes for Pearson, we were in a better position when he left than when he took over.

Acun is an irresponsible owner with a god complex, and quite frankly the signs were there from the off, most people chose to ignore them because he was signing players and paying for holidays.

He’ll leave the club in a far worse state than he bought it and we’ll have to endure the consequences for years to come.

Only way we can do this it to get relegated and have a reset. However not with Acun in charge, as he will spend the money. Get the club sold and sell anything with some value and reset. Going to be harder than last time as we are more in debt.

Has the 1st installment of the tv money been given to the Championship clubs yet? While I don't know the figure. I would think it may offset some of the money owed to the creditors, of which there appears to be a quite a few.
Agree with Top Tiger to a degree, but not on relegation has the income would be greatly reduced as a result. Lets hope Acun has a thick contacts book and he can attract a viable buyer, but not a great advert are we for anyone. Still we're a Efl championship football club in perhaps the 5th or 6th most watched and followed league in Europe and possibly the world, though I acknowledge there's some debate about that.
