****ing hell, the Swiss did it with a goal in injury time lol. They aint that good, but their mentaility seems to be to never give up.
Caught a bit of the Women's football this week. England played well v Holland, and I saw the end of last nights game. I've way more interest in that than the club world cup utter bollocks, but really with a test match and Wimbledon and the Scottish Open and The Lions tour on, it's still way down the list of things to watch. It's just football for football's sake in the middle of summer. It does my head in enough during the actual season, can't say I'm that football bothered.
I'm the same only watching the women because there is **** all else on. I had on the PSG v Real Madrid game, the first one I done of the CWC and I honestly couldn't get into it. I think with the women I can accept it for what it is, light entertainment in the absence of anything else. I'd rather watch women trying to make something of their game, then watching top European male players stealing a living, not all, but most. Talking of stealing a living, I'll probably try and watch Chelsea Sunday night.
Palace demoted to ECL. In a weird way might be better. Some proper obscure away days and a really good chance of going far.
Mad. City can break 130 rules and carry on as if nothing is wrong. Palace tho, never been In trouble as far as I know and punished after an amazing trophy win. Ridiculous
Like this a lot, was watching the LFC TV tribute to him earlier, got quite sad about it all, genuinely a lovely guy by all accounts and a superb finisher, probably our best finisher since God. RIP Diogo 20
Have a feeling there is going to be a lot more to this. The other guys involved in Palace (Delaware ownership) own a club in Denmark that's already qualified for conference league
... then we went and sold Amartey ... otherwise ... ... nice try Madge ... but you've still got a face full of omelette...
