Loving that we have a load of structural engineers on the board now. Pretty sure there was an article fairly recently about why the corners could not be filled in, something to do about the stanchions being essential to the structural integrity of the SKD and Kop stands.
Btw you could do a lot of things that would be minimal if the council was willing to reorient the road. The pub, largely derelict shops and the church would be options to be bought over and relocated or whatever. Would love to see a big kop bit of work but it'd end up looking kind of like the spurs bowl which is actually two times. Part of the thing about the kop is you can't see the back of it it killed of runs up and is dark and its the people that make the noise and it special. I don't think many more rows are possible. Anyway the issue with corners is design. Fsg cheap assed it the design has big **** off steel pillars holding up the roof trusses so doing what dortmund did would be very tough and corners don't really add thst much. A lot of the new seats are not even in line with the pitch. You are sat off looking. Down on the other stands and have to look to the side to see the pitch
The kop end was before my time but there are a few shots of it being built as games were going on. You'd have to take the whole roof off more or less. That's why I said itd be very expensive.
Funnily enough, i do work in the industry and was offered a job a Buckingham's 4 year ago. Thank feck I turned them down eh?
Adingra (Brighton) gone to Sunderland £21m+ Kudus (Wham) gone to Spurs £55m Gibbs-White most likely to Spurs £60m Thought I'd get us back to actual transfer talk. Adingra is an odd one, thought he looked one of Brighton's better players last season, maybe lost form in the 2nd half of the season. But 21m seems low for a young talent. Also shows the importance of Spurs winning the EL and getting CL. Money to spend and players willing to move there, despite how ****e they were last season.
Think Brighton just have a lot of wide players ahead of him Mitoma Gruda Minteh March Plus Enciso and Bounanotte coming back from loan.
Do kudus and gibbs white really improve spurs? They need a goal keeper and imo cms to control the ball and they are top 6 again. As long as they get shut of son they will be OK.
They need centre backs also right? Looks like walking red-card Romero could be off and his partner is a midfielder by trade filling in.
I think they certainly improve their attack depending on the shape they play but, as you say, it's not attack they struggle with. Their defence is alright of they they can stay fit but that's a big if too
Gibbs-White does if only for increasing strength in depth as they struggled in CM last season though surely they won't have so many injuries this year .
Hendo joins Brentford on a trip year deal. What odds can we get on the contract being terminated in January to allow him to switch clubs again?
Bayern have offered £44.7m for Diaz For that price they can have his boots, what an insulting bid They've just made more than that from the cwc.
