Making big decisions with heart over head is not how clubs at the elite level should operate. Making key decisions based on how happy it would make the fans even if it doesnt make sense, again is not what should be happening. We did it once with Defoe and it was a mistake. We nearly did it again with reappointing Keane (something I wanted tbf) but in hindsight, Neil was a far better appointment at that time. The club are sticking to the strategy that has been successful and what they think will progress us further. Henderson doesnt fit this and that's why he isnt here. Fully in agreement with the club on this one.
