And that doesn't worry you in the slightest(the sheer quantity of players who have gone out of the door)...That tells you all you need to know about our abysmal recruitment record under the Turk. Undisclosed fees are probably a good thing in our case as thankfully they more than likely mask some of the embarrassment of losses in that department.
Obviously not written by Baz Cooper. What a sh!t show. Money disappearing all over the place. Its a blessing that Ehab isn't pressing for his money back. We'd be sunk if he did.
Assuming this is accurate: The bloated wage bill has eaten up most of the incoming transfer fees, and now we need to find £22m of future transfer fees from somewhere while still losing money on the day to day due to said wage bill. As Pork said, no details of when they're due, so it could be across 3 years. We'll have been receiving extra payments from West Ham as Bowen's add-ons tick over. If that was my personal finances, I'd have paid them straight across to get it cleared, but then business people often do some creative accounting, especially if cashflow is an issue. I'm wobbling lads, I can't lie.
I’m of neither persuasion atm, it’s just a possibility in my mind. I haven’t commented on the whole thing really, because while most on here have their opinions, it’s impossible atm to know what’s right and what’s not. Something has clearly gone on, there’s tit bits of truth and lots of misinformation. Joining up the dots is ****ing impossible and we’re really not going to know much more until the season starts and the transfer window shuts and we see where we are with a playing squad. That said, I do try to look more on the positive side than the negative because I think we have enough to deal with, without further negativity.
He's essentially used any cash he can get his hands on to buy players, racking up an enormous credit card bill and outstanding late payments list in the process. He's driving us to administration unless we can get him to sell the club. The party is over, and we have to make sure the house doesn't get repossessed as a result of it
Bowen's add-ons go straight into Ehab's pocket (at least in theory - seems like we're not paying him at the moment).
That was through Covid payments and you know it. The club used the covid bounce back loan and paid it back. The embargo wasn't enforced for dipping out on paying our bills. Nothing like the mess this idiot has got us into or the scale which is increasing by the day. I said at the time, be careful what you wish for and you shouted me down on every post. The only family who have kept this club's head above water in recent years are the Allams, for all their faults too, which would you prefer today? This liar or them? This guy has seriously dented my enthusiasm for the club, he has shafted us big style, let's not beat around the bush. In a way that I thought was impossible after we had been through it so many time before under other dodgy owners. I didn't think we would get fooled again but we have and only this time it's far more serious. It's never been easy supporting this club and we do not deserve to be rinsed in this way especially after the way we have supported them in numbers. For me, no sentiment at all, the Turks days are numbered and the quicker he ****s off the better.
Well, thats the point. They're supposed to, but we can probably factor them in with some of the P&S ****ery where we can treat it as income now, but debts in future. Seems it's an accountant's game now.
Brutal, nay, fookin brutal, assessment of where we are right now. And difficult to argue against any of it. Going back to another of your posts, I didn't know Ehab still had money in the club. I thought he was out.
