From our mutual Fox friend re Cifuentes: “Now I have slept on the idea and gathered some more information, I’m even more disappointed. I hope we are only paying him the few peanuts left behind by the previous dancing monkey. He has a dumb face that I want to tw*t with a cricket bat. Not impressed. Even WBA didn’t want him. “ I think Stephan is a huge upgrade. Still likely to **** up of course, this is QPR.
Colback wouldn't be a bad signing. He's still got something to offer, if he can calm his aggression down. Fox... he does have experience and a footballing brain. I just don't think his body can keep up with his brain anymore. Would only take him if we couldn't find another LB or CB. But maybe giving a youth player a chance would be at least equal to playing Fox.
Colback is 35 with the maturity of an 11 year old. He’s run out of time to ‘develop’. Fox is only nearly 32, but plays like he’s 108. Getting these two off the payroll might make space for someone else.
Kudus too. Pretty sure they had a look and Palace wanted too much as £60m for Gibbs-White is an awful lot.
I hope our summer business isn’t solely founded on Eze residuals, because I can see him staying where he is.
Hope that's just a rumour. I like Nardi and not sure Walsh is quite No1 material just yet. Surely we need 'em both?
Got him for nothing, might be worth £2m after a decent season, sell if there are buyers. It’s the business model, Walsh is meant to be ok and could be worth more given a chance to shine. Plus we have loads of other keepers.
