I don't think that Levy would ever publicly say that, but I'm sure we leaked it.
    Doesn't mean that it's true.
I wouldn't go that far, but he gives us a great option and good depth.
I assume that we're actually going to use a system that has an attacking midfielder.
If it's a 4-2-3-1, then we've currently got lots of good players for all of the attacking roles.
Son, Maddison, Johnson, Tel, Gibbs-White, Kulusevski, Odobert, Moore, Kudus, Solanke, Richarlison...

I assume that we're going to shift Solomon, Gil and a couple of others.
Might be some loans or releases involved.

Wolves have a 10% sell-on according to Ben Jacobs

Interesting thing is we seem to be playing 4D chess here
    - We pay Forest £60m for Gibbs-White
    - Forest have already been bidding for Wissa, and now have liquidity to make their bid more compelling
    - If Brentford have the Wissa (and Nordgaard) cash in their pocket, there's no need to sell Mbuemo

Think about this. Who saw this coming?

Think about this. For all the so-called ITKs, sports "journalists", pundits and various parties filling the media since the end of the season with endless transfer speculation. Who saw this coming?

How come for all the rubbish I've heard from these people, I don't recall anyone mentioning that MGW had a release clause at all, let alone how much it is, and then speculating about who he might transfer to.

The answer is that it seems nobody saw this coming.

Bear it in mind when you listen to the "experts" in future.

Agree. I find all the ITKs just copy and paste rumours but try to pretend they have inside information

Also begs the question whether it was Lange or Paratici behind it

The move for Kudus does come across more like a Paratici move, given there's been a subtle dripfeed of potential alternate targets mentioned in the last week or so plus the way we made sure we had a watertight agreement with the player before the deal was announced does sound a lot like him

Gibbs-White is more Lange, as there was complete radio silence until there wasn't

Allegedly 100m quid in revenue just for getting in the CL group stage.
Which would cover 2 x 50m transfer fees spread over 4 years.

Wow what a day ! Kudus having his medical today and we get Morgan Gibbs White !

At bloody last spurs showing real ambition spending big money on proven quality prem players and acting like a big club.

The thing is there’s surely more to come too, can’t see the club not addressing the defensive midfield and LB cover problem.

Even if Sonny and Richy go we will have some insane attacking options -

Kudus, Solanke, MGW, Johnson, Kulu, Tel, Maddison and Odebert.

Today I learned that GorillaBelch News does football news

That is the source saying we're going for Adam Wharton for £60m

Just in case you get taken in by an aggregator

Me looking back at the rant I was going to post at the beginning of the week, bemoaning our transfer window.

Kudus and Gibbs-White look like decent signings, albeit that there is an amount of uncertainty, as neither has played at CL and top end PL level.
Frank has a good record of signing promising players, with some track record at a lower level, and improving them (Brentford’s MO) so you’d have to back him.
And the good news is that Utd’s chances of landing Mbeumo have been increased, although it’s all gone very quiet.

If Forest sign Wissa then surely Utd’s chance decrease

The office was fun yesterday, big grief from the loudmouth Wet Spam season ticket holder , she was gutted that we had landed Kudus, the start of the week she said the hammers will pull our trousers down ,keep string ing us along until they got the asking price , and later in the day a call from a colleague in the midlands who was gutted that we had MGW , he was of the opinion that we have an £80million pound and future England international , Forest fans are gutted to lose him
