A Turkish barber near me was recently done for selling coke. It was a huge shock as I’ve been going to him for years and had no idea he was a barber.
Really hoping the club stand firm on the Drameh and Kamara rumours. If we wreren't of a mind to sell Kamara before the mess... selling him a big loss now would be in my opinion another slap head bit of business. We'd need a replacement and where could we find one.. I see Portsmouth have now raised their head again. Drameh is obviously in demand which means that we should be initiating a bidding war.
Drameh I could live with for cash. Abu going would be nuts all considered unless the fee was close to what we paid.
Perhaps. Easily solved by adding a few grand on to his weekly wage, which is maybe what we are trying.
If you had a number of options, why would.you sign for the one option that's hamstrung in being able to strengthen after finishing just above relegation on goal difference?
If I wasn’t a City supporter then yeah. If I’m a player with no strong attachment to the club and don’t particularly like the area like Alzate then this embargo/fee restriction stuff would push me over the edge and I’d be contacting my agent daily.
If we don’t want to sell, then we shouldn’t be looking for anything near what we paid, if anyone wants a player who has a long contract & we don’t want to sell, we should be putting silly numbers out there. This is the problem with our transfers for the last few seasons, buy high & then give away!
There's a fair few looking for an exit route and more then a fair few worried about the state of everything that's going on
Depressing. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pandur and Hughes want out. Losing those two would disappoint me the most.
I think this might be the most miserable summer as a City supporter since the 2017/18 summer transfer window when it was a mass exodus. Slutsky later said in an interview it was quite deflating for him as it felt like every other day a player was knocking on his door to tell him they want to leave. That summer we lost Davies, Maguire, Tymon, Huddlestone, Jakupović, Elmohamady, Robertson and Clucas in quick succession. Last summer was also a mess but that was more annoying than anything and most of us accepted that Greaves and Philogene would be sold for decent fees. This summer is worse as it’s entirely self-inflicted and could’ve been avoided. If we lose Pandur and Hughes so early into their contracts because of the chaos at the club then there is almost **** all to build on. We’ll just be a dead-end club for dead-end players.
Louie Barry’s move to Hull City cannot be ‘completely ruled out’ It is well known that former Tigers boss Ruben Selles is interested in taking Barry to Sheffield United this summer after signing him for Hull in January. An opportunity to sign for one of the promotion favourites is surely appetising for the Englishman, though as it stands, Villa are exploring the possibility of loaning the attacker out once more. As per information from our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that Hull are still in the race to sign Barry alongside Sheffield United and other Championship clubs. We are told there is ‘confidence’ regarding their whole financial situation, with Acun Ilicali hopeful of reducing the punishment and also continuing their pursuit of the La Masia graduate.
I wish Acun would just **** off with his stupid comments to the media about how we’re signing players , because he expects the ban to be lifted! He’s just talking ****e constantly, I really can’t stand him anymore!
