How much gross spend do people think we will hit? already high and no sign of slowing + plenty of positions to fill + depth
a gk, 2 new centre backs, a CM, right winger and a striker
I've said £100m to £120m net. We still need to pay, now much higher, wages out of our new found wealth, which comes in stages over the season.
The borrowing facility we took on will be to help with this, in terms of smoothing cashflow.
I’d be okay with that if they’re the ones done before first game.

I’d say that’s fairly strong for a newly promoted side first game of the season.
Another CB & another CM can be sought after later in the window.
I know everyone is worried about Afcon but I’ve just thought about the fact we have the January window to get any emergency players/loans in the plug the gaps
That’ll be fine if the AFCON started January.
Starts around December 16th I think?
Suppose that means Reinaldo will be back by then, can’t see Mozambique doing well.

silly opening bid, have to start lower. although I will leave it to the experts
Considerably more than Roberts though I would like him to improve and produce better goal/assists but he always seems to let us down .
