Essentially the hold up for Lyon transfers has been that of course the investigation and appeal had to happen - but half the squad have relegation release clauses so they needed to be sure those were either activateable or not.

Stuff should speed up around that now.

Worth considering that there is probably going to be one or two players from the existing squad who step up and surprise a few by winning a starting berth and potentially benching a new signing.

The correct answer though, is whoever looks the best in preseason games and training.
