Maddison and Dragusin both sound like they're both recovering well. I'd love to hear Frank's genuine thoughts on the facilities as it looked like a lot for him to take in. The whole media aspect's probably quite a change for him, too. He did a Day In The Life video for Sky and it's a bit of a contrast: How many of the changes are superfluous and how many are genuine upgrades? He notably mentioned that we have a stand bigger than Brentford's ground when we beat them. The finances of that are obvious a big boost, but how far can training facilities go?
I remember it being said about Harry Redknapp's time at West Ham the training facilities were so far below standard that all they could do was play 5-a-side most days Obviously their chairman buying that replica sailing ship was far more important...
Having multiple natural grass indoor pitches may be of some use when the weather is sh*te (assuming the training exercise actually requires that many) . Similarly for outside (if I recall correctly the old Cheshunt site only had space for two full size pitches, I cannot remember how many the Chigwell site had - 3 ?? ) .
Paul O'Queef is trying to make out one specific recently departed member of the medical team was responsible for our injury crisis, because he went on holiday in December That person was our head of nutrition and sports psychology What're the odds that person just so happened to replace the bloke who leaked who was booked for medicals to O'Queef, which is why he's been a clout-chasing crank for the last eighteen months?
