This Wrexham bid for O’Brien is strange. Allegedly a £5m deal agreed but Wrexham can’t afford his wages. Valencia, Birmingham & Southampton also interested in him. They presumably could meet his wages.
If you can't afford the wages, why make a bid? They must have known his personal terms before making an offer.
