Longstaff to Leeds for £12m - Ornstein. Roly's gonna be using the special sock this evening and first **** saying we need a buy back clause because he has 3 good games wants a ****ing slap
Personal terms agreed as longstaff doesn’t want the club to lose out on money instead of going for nout next year. I’d accept the offer but he’s a lad who loves this club.
Ornstein also saying that our deal for Elanga is £52m + bonuses that are 'considered difficult to reach'. So the price sounds slightly better than expected.
I'm bowled over that they are stumping up that price. Let's hope there isn't a catch. Or maybe it's just media spin?
I've had a quick Googly mate, and they've been tracking him for a while. It's a deal they're keen to swing.
I've seen him clear the boundary on many occasion when a single, accurate strike would have been preferred. Man's a big hitter... £12m is a bargain.
We'd be bat **** crazy to refuse that corker of an offer, take the money and run. He's a decent mid-fielder and had a good innings with us but we can net a better one now. If we turn it down, i'm out.
I don't think many sides will be overly keen to commit fwd. The issue Newcastle have is when teams sit back against us and counter though. I think we're missing something somewhere, but maybe they'll address that?
I don't think it's over priced.. He's young and only to get better. Man united fans labelled him crap simply because they have unrealistic expectations and are in a period of hate. Elanga is a real threat and has something about him... More space for Isak I think.
