Aguerd had a good season at Sociedad. For a reasonable fee i'd be happy with it, but I suspect the asking price will not be reasonable.

AFCON would be a bloodbath though.

 

I think this is an old link, it was one of the first when Ghisolfi came in

 

He also has asked west ham to leave, refused to go back to pre season training etc all because he wants to be playing in Europe.

 

Aguerd isn’t the worst signing we’ve been linked to this summer but he’s miles away from the best too.

 

I dont mind him as a player but we can't be having up to 5 players leaving for the AFCON

 

Also on aguerd - I like him as a player in a high line but don't think he suits us at all.

One of the worst progressive CBs I've seen and struggles in a low block.

 

They are mind. This lad is excellent. No downgrade from Partey at all IMO, who of course has other things on his mind now anyway

 

Aguerd doesn’t fit our usual model to me. We generally pay decent fees for young players and bring in experienced players on frees or loans. Even the ones this year for that template - be surprised if we now pay a decent fee for a 29 year old
