£17m doesn't sound that bad to be fair. Left sided centre back, Premier League and European experience, off the back of a good season at Real Sociedad.

 

That Santi fella is reliable mind isn't he? He's one of the usually quite accurate ones? And if you look at the other clubs listed, we'd be in decent company.

Makes sense really. After all they must have stormed the championship and broke the points record. How a super team like Coventry even dropped into the playoffs is beyond me. Must have been charity.

 

One of the rare ones this summer that I’m probably against. I’ll support him if we sign him, but I’d rather we didn’t. Think there’s better out there for what he’d cost.
