Due to being at work I recorded the game and just watched it now. Great win, fitness looks better already.

The only downside for me today is John O'shea, shocking performance! I was really excited when we bought this lad, but just haven't seen anything positive from him yet. Hopefully MON will have words...

    John O'****e!

Mind he did improve in the last ten minutes - just need more from him over 90 - we know what he is capable of.

I'm wondering if he really was here just because of Bruce. He was awful today - cannot see him keeping his place long.

I thought his performance got better in the latter stages of the game...

As an outsider I always expected Brown to fail whilst O'Shea would do well. Seems like it was the other way around.

But, as it's been said, SAF is a clever fella and rarely ever sells his players without a reason.

    Agreed.
But like I said about Colback sometimes he seems to think he has all the time in the world.

O'Shea was a crock of ****e at Man Utd to be honest, I used to think the only way to play against them positively was to attack O'Shea.

Despite Brown's recent criticism I do feel he's holding our defence together and without him we'd be up **** creek without a paddle. Far too good for our level.

He did, watched the last 30 minutes again and he was much better. Just think he needs to settle down and play his own game and to stop thinking he is billy big balls Man Utd player and things will just work for him. His passing needs to be better as the players in front of him won't be finding the same space as his Man Utd chums
