Ah, so you’re just talking bollocks without anything to back it up, which is something you’ve complained about other posters doing. Nice.
You would have thought that by now, nearly a 1000 posts in, that someone, a friend of a friend, an employee, a sole trader, an MD, might have come out of the woodwork and said YES they us money.. maybe th HDM will have a scoop later...
Is he really a racist ****? I'm sure far worse has been said by many, and given back too. Not that I think it was a good or smart thing to say. But hardly means, on it's own, that he's a racist.
So we're ****ed 'if...' then? I've not said anything different to that. I don't condone the position we've gotten ourselves into and yes, it is concerning. This is the problem though, I've had a few replies to my earlier post now which have seemingly missed the point - there is absolutely no point in casting judgement yet, until we know what has actually happened, the extent of it, and ideally how/why it has happened.
The posts and the quantity of them I've seen are the evidence I've got to back it up. If you're so hot on evidence all of a sudden, I'd suggest you take my advice regarding the finance situation we're in at the moment and calm down a bit until we know more. By all means, if Acun has genuinely lied and behaved like a complete cockwomble regarding payments etc then you won't find me arguing with you. Or alternatively, keep sounding off at posters that are trying to be more rational/hopeful about the predicament.
I don't think that Acun failing necessarily means the club failing if he can be persuaded to sell up and if there is a buyer. Kalman has called out Acun for what he is proving himself to be. After ridiculously and petulantly sacking Rosenior and Selles, both of whom were swiftly recruited by better clubs because they are good managers, then getting us into this financial mess, I'm surprised there is anyone left who doesn't want Acun out as swiftly as possible before he does more damage.
Back it up then. Provide a single post by me in this thread where I’ve wanted the club to fail or where I’ve been happy that we’re now in a three-window fee restriction.
There is probably more that want him in than out, probably because they think if he went they would not know what the future held.
Maybe he did smell, so in fact it was just a correct statement! Joking before someone soils themselves.
It was 10 years ago, does that one line make you a racist for ever? The quote I posted included what he said (not censored) and his punishment. For reference it also mentioned John Terry his comment)(censored) and punishment (less) Even the NOT606 censor chose to ignore shelveys comment. Non of that makes it right at the time but does it make it wrong now?
You insinuate that you know that the club owe money to 'a local removal firm'? If so that is scandalous. I cannot be a fortune after all? Call me old fashioned but I remember the days when a local firm, if owned money by the football club wouldn't go to the Football League asking why, they would plant a story in the local paper to draw attention to it. If the club are so short of ready cash to pay everyday bills like this then instead of offering free holidays to Turkey for a chosen few why not charter a plane, charge those who wish to go and use the profits from that to pay the removal man? . If it is indeed payment for the heat lamps then isn't that a matter for the SMC? This keeps popping up and is quickly kicked into the long grass by those who disagree, but we share a stadium with another club, like we share the pitch with one, a pitch costing over £1m to be relayed recently for example, and the extra cost of the heat lamps to maintain it. Is it too far fetched to expect the costs of such to be shared by the two clubs who use it? Does anyone actually know who owns the SMC these days? Who are behind it, who benefits from it and who is responsible for it? I know this accusation was often aimed at the Allams but do we know that ownership and responsibility for the SMC these days falls on the those who own Hull City? If so and the company is in financial difficulty for the very basics it needs to operate then perhaps they should look at increasing the costs to those who use it and not just expect one of the two partners to pay for everything? Just a thought. Not paying for players is entirely down to those who run the football club.
The fact that there are other incidents of both greater and less severity is neither here nor there. Calling a player of Arabic ethnicity a "smelly Arab/P****" is racist, that's not up for debate. It's not as though he said it by accident, or he didn't know what it meant, or whatever other excuse people come out with these days for this type of behaviour. He also called Dominic Iorfa a "peasant", which seemed...iffy. I haven't seen any trace of an apology either, seems he denied having said it yet he accepted the punishment. Had he apologised and then done work for anti-racism charities in an effort to distance himself from the incident, I might be more forgiving. As it stands, he can **** allllll the way off. I won't be renewing if we sign him.
When did we start signing players depending on their political views, or something they may or may not of said months/years ago? I thought we signed them on ability?
