Not really - it's the missus who's the big Stereophonics fan ... daughters were actually more excited to see the main support - Blossoms. If it had been The Manics, I'd have made the effort ... We're all going to see James at Cardiff Castle this week (my Father's Day treat)... but the girls are looking forward to Catfish and the Bottlemen this summer much more...
I got thinking about this Palestine Action group, where the police were kept busy yesterday in large numbers upholding the new change in law. Surely the answer is to create a new group, and as long as it's not the organisers of the previously PAG, surely no laws are broken and you would then have the right to protest under the new group? As long as the new group don't go chucking paint about, they will be left alone preacefully to have a voice. Or maybe I'm missing something on the legal side of all this that stops that from happening.
Decent last few pages Fosse cowering to brbs power A real man would've told him to go **** himself. Just sayin
I meant the part about Netanyahu being culpable for supporting and enabling the rise of Hamas, but yeah you've agreed that he's never been interested in a two state solution. The disparate geographical nature of Palestine is as a direct result of Israel taking that land, but we are where we are. The first part of all of this though, is enabling the PA to function as a proper entity instead of trying to weaken it, only then can a unified Palestinian governance emerge. There will need to be a lot of trust invested in this process, trust that is almost non existent at the moment. If Hamas can trust that Israel will not try to undermine Palestinian governance, continue to expand settlements, and will end the blockade. And if Israel can trust that without any reason for armed resistance, Hamas will lay down its arms, then we might just be able to move forward towards
Was thinking that myself... 'Palestine Reaction' has a sufficiently contemptuous yet poignant ring to it
What would Sucky (or his missus) ... know about real men? For one thing, you wouldn't get real men bleating about how financial regs are a disadvantage to the other habitual mega spenders ... makes no difference to a game once a ball is kicked ... I ask no quarter ... and give none ... never have, never will... it's called 'The Fosse Way' for a reason ... ... actually, it's called that because that's what the Romans named it
Nonsense. Politically opposites, like literally, one is left wing and the other is right wing. Ideologically, Fatah are 2 state solutionists whilst Hamas are Arab and Islamic nationalists who do not advocate for a 2 state solution. This ain't Labour and Plaid Cymru
Brown nosing @brb sniffcrack after he publicly bent you over his knee and slapped your arse. Wouldn't see a real man doing that Just sayin
Russia has perpetrated multiple acts of espionage, election interference and assassinations on UK soil. I'd fully expect the government to back its opponent in a war. What similar acts has the Israeli government committed on UK soil?
Your final paragraph is worryingly naive. Hamas will always have a reason for armed resistance. As long as Israel exists, it has a reason. It was literally set up for this purpose. Not to stop settlement expansion. Not to end a blockade. Not to undermine governance. To stop Israel existing. "From the river to the sea" isn't just a catchy chant, it's a dream.
It just seems ridiculous really, even as a protest, gettting yourself nicked so it gives the UK state excuse to take all your personal details from you down at the station, where they will now be kept on some database. Surely it's better just to set up another group that keeps legally within the confines of the law. That way no one is any the wiser to who you are as a protestor, we just seem to want to make it easy for Big Brother.
i'm fairly certain they actively spy on UK , try and subvert people of interest and they definitely ferociously lobby in UK both openly and in the shadows . And yes none of that in any way equates with Russian interference in our Politics , number of murders and espionage including arson
