Any computer buffs on our server?
Ok My plug in battery charger had broken so I finally decided to get a new one which works a treat.
with it being out of action for a few month it had lots of updates. last night when I decided to shut my laptop down it came up with downloading important updates please don't turn off you computer.
this went on for donkeys and I wanted to go to bed so i held the x delete button and turned it off. bad idea I know but i swear it was like over a hour and a half and wouldn't shut down I thought it had frozen.
Anyways I have turned it on this morning and my windows 11 won't load in.
My laptop opens and is on and I get my Acer Pretetor screen with the spinning wheel "diagram below" this spins for about 1 minute then it goes to the blue screen "diagram below" then back to the black predetor screen but no spinning icon and just stays like that.
Anyone know what Ive done or how to fix it Ive tried youtube but it just takes me to places I don't need to be.

    1. I turn my laptop on I get this screen.

2.It spins then takes me to this screen

    3. Then it goes back to this screen and doesn't move for love nor money with no movement from the mouse or any window options.

Any help would be apricated as Ive just forked out £40 for this new Charger. now its something else I can't win. Cheerz.

Use another source and look up the waus you can acess your computer. There are ways to get into them without going to start up. I used to do it on my dell and it's surprising what you can do.

Couple of questions before we get too deep

Does the laptop have a cd drive and do you have a windows cd

Alternatively do you have a Windows boot disk on a USB stick, or can you access another pc, that would allow you to creat one ?

No CD Drive mate. no I don't have windows Boot disk but that's actually what Ive just been reading and watching on Youtube.
Wakey has got me into my BIOS by pressing F2 I've done all the options and still no luck.
I want to get in safe mode but As you said and by reading it seems I need a Windows Boot disk.

Ok if you can get into the Bios, look for an option that says Boot or Startup

Then within that section look for Boot Mode or Boot Order or Startup

There should be an option that allows you to enable safe mode

Once we get there we can look at a couple of options without using a recovery disc

The marketing blurb on the bottom left edge of your screen is not wrong.
'Taking you to a new reality'.
    <laugh>

seriously tho I feel your pain, tech stuff is great when it works, when it doesnt you just want to chuck it out of the window.

Just an update for anyone who has any fresh ideas.

Can't find any options with the bios to enable safe mode.

Have tried rebooting the laptop 5 times as that usually kicks the pc into Safe mode after a certain number of failures.

Have told Siddas I'll burn him a windows image onto USB and send that to him. So he can boot from the USB which should allow him to do a windows repair
