Nope I brought it on here for the exact reason I gave.

Lads banter, yeah righto. There's a difference from the missus making an ocassional comment, to your constant obsession with degrading remarks about women. Something you try to normalise. The guys had only just been talking about a rapist a page back. All bordering around a conversation about women's football and you don't see the problem as a 60 something year old man.

Maybe I've just got this impression of you Fosse...

that if a lads banter comment is going to be made about the opposite sex it is generally you that is going to make it.

Like all discrimination it starts somewhere, generally through normalisation, or should we just call this pure misogynistic behaviours.

Actually I'm sure someone has called you out on this once before.

People being arrested in Westminster, all appear to be women, some young, but look mainly middle aged females, saw one elderly lady who had difficulty walking. Looks like they are being arrested for posters referencing Palestine Action. Seems all very peaceful, cops not met with even the lightest aggression - could potentially cause a manpower issue if cops have to spend all day doing this. I'm not condeming their actions nor the cops, just noting the situation.

I think the elderly lady would not be suitable, as she'd have no hope of escaping his clutches.

Said my piece and will leave it there ...

... other than to say that as a father that has raised 3 daughters into adulthood, I've always been pretty adept at spotting the real perverts in our world. <ok>

Interesting that all these people so opposed to civilian deaths do not march outside the Russian Embassy protesting about all the woman and children being killed in Ukraine by Russia after Russia ILLEGALLY invaded Ukraine

Maybe it is because the Russians would make them disappear whereas the Police or the Jewish Embassy would just politely tell them to move on

    Suffragettes they aint

I think one of the ones that got me the most in recent times with this... https://www.hrw.org/feature/russia-ukraine-war-mariupol/counting-the-dead

and no one uttered a word about it, and when I raised what Putin had done, built new buildings on unrecovered bodies, still no one uttered a word.

I was against the war in Ukraine, because I knew what would happen, and that suffering happened and now is buried as if those people never ever existed. They will never be able to walk home to claim their plot of land, and no one said anything...just silence...

    https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...mariupol-siege-human-rights-watch-2024-02-08/

HRW documents attacks that struck civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, a supermarket and a theatre sheltering civilians. It found no evidence of a Ukrainian military presence at these sites or nearby, which it said made the attacks unlawful.
