How the hell has it been allowed to go on for so long when it's been as clear as daylight?
Illegal cigs, vapes, drugs, money laundering, illegals working illegally, people trafficking, tax evasion, .......
Hope this finally opens some peoples eyes to just a small glimpse of what is actually going on. Not just in the major cities, but on ALL our highstreets in cities, towns, even villages up and down the whole country. It's absolutely insane that it's been allowed to happen.
No doubt some (even on here) will try still to defend it.
This country is absolutely ****ed ... but maybe, just maybe there's small glimpses of something finally being done? Likely far too late?

 

All in the same week our owner finally gets found out. Coincidence?

It will take more than a few raids to solve this it needs national legislation quickly with no long term legal arguments . Just do it!!!
The country has been caught with its pants down whilst ‘cash is king’ rules .
I have a pal who recently used a ‘barber’ with a new v young guy cutting the hair , he proceeded to rant at my pal about his hatred of the Jews and Israel to the point of fury . My pal is v wealthy and usually hard to debate on these subject's as they are at arms length to him, it was quite a surprise to him and it opened his eyes .

 

Who is buying all the illegal cigarettes vapes and cocaine?
Guess what colour they are too??

It's a valid point, and they should feel the force of the law too.
Are you somehow trying to make out that it's all ok then? Are you ok about the situation, or are you like me raging about wtf is happening to our country and where we're headed?

They are filling a need
People smoke and cigs are expensive
Same with vapes
Same with cocaine

where is our country headed? Because people are buying cheap cigs?

instead of giving them fines
Long prison sentences
Can that be done ?

I stopped smoking last week. Typical that I find out these are available after I've been spending £15, a packet for god knows how long.

Their marketing must have been shocking. Imagine having a product and not letting the world know its available. I'm toying with the idea of starting again just to enjoy some savings

Seriously, how on earth is it racist? Being anti money laundering, human trafficking, drug dealing, tax evasion, illegal working, etc etc is racist?

 

I was on Ferensway this week and it looks like your 'favourite' shop, on the corner of Paragon Street, has closed.

I was in retail for 30 years. Never once had a complaint from a customer about under selling something or under weight etc. But I did sell nails by the bag full or a slack hand full because that's what people asked for, usually for £1 per pound old money. No one ever complained. But the weights and measures/trading standards bods often paid me a visit. My stock answer was 'have you brought my award for 30 years serving the general public without a single complain?' Everything was checked by them and I think they knew the score and were just pleased to get out of the office for the afternoon. I was never charged with anything simply because i wasn't doing anything wrong. They visited one day and asked ( once again) how I sold my nails? I said in pre packs, which was what they wanted to hear. Old guy walks in just as the weights and measure people were getting their tape measures out, and asked for a 'slack handful of 2'' ovals please' I had to say, 'I don't sell them loose, only pre packed' He said 'you did yesterday'.

 

Hung out to dry on your own nail.

I can't speak for all of them, but from people that know these things, there are several that only sell to foreigners, as they see that as a precaution against Trading Standards. Who those people sell them onto is obviously another question.
