For me I'll say it again and keep saying it, people have never cared about all the other hundreds of thousands killed brutely in other wars. Some that I posted about on here, which were time and time again ignored - it don't matter how those wars were started they still resulted in people being massacred.

IF people had cared, maybe humanity might have been able to prevent all the other wars that followed, but I've come to accept, humanity does not care, it will still go on slaughtering people like it has done for thousands of years.

One thing that is guaranteed in life long after the Israel/Hamas war has passed, is that toment and torture will continue forever, because we will never change until the last human dies. Don't blame Israel for this, we all need to go look at ourselves in the mirror, because we are a disease, a disgusting horrible organism.

Nope ... what I was doing was what I did, responding to KingHotspur's query ... merely stating facts ... no sarcasm at all - the fact that you've gone into a tantrum and are still windmilling even now just demonstrates your double standardsl ...

No you was being a snide.

As for the guy that made comments at Glasto his words didn't offend me, mainly because I couldn't make out what the **** he was on about, but to appear in a boiler suit and a republican mask does seem a tad crass after the troubles. As I would some Brit standing up there in St George mask and you would have been one of the first to call it out as right wing.

He was clearly intent on divide and I don't just mean over Israel, once again you haven't ascertained what I saw and why I saw it like that, because you think only your version of events is correct.

As for my tantrum I'm calling out a mid 60's man constantly perving over girls his daughters age, and I've explained what my problem is with that. Reason here and not on the football thread where it's come from, because it's just you and me, and not Bod pokiing his nose in, although you clearly rely on moral support.

I used to just ignore your lewd comments, but when you start quoting me on then I'm going to say something eventually and did. I'm not expecting you to see or understand the problem, hopefully when you become a grandad you might begin to understand.

But let's rewind on this a bit, this was around the same time we were talkiing about Partey being a rapist, do you think your comments are appropriate because I don't. Maybe I've become a prude and to an extent I can accept it from Sucky and Bod, but not a guy our age ffs.

That latter bit being the reason I didn't want Bod dragged into this. Again it's about you ascertaining my thought process, but you're just ****ing bone idol lazy when it comes to facts. You go on about girls as much as you do Leicester City, and if anything it's all got a tad boring.

@PINKIE is alright mate, we say our piece and move on. You are ok as well as it happens, got no beef with you bro.

My poster was ill timed, but not sure there ever would have been a good time to post it.

But if it creates debate and makes people think then the artists work is done. The real artist I'm on about lol

Yeah disagreeing with people about things is good. Doesn’t mean you dislike them or have ill feeling. I like hearing and seeing different views, makes you think and better than an echo chamber where everyone says the same thing.

Me and Pinkie hugged behind PM <laugh>

Well I don't really do hugs, so it was more a mutual agreement to keep the peace...

Yeah I was gonna mention that the reason you asked 'what has that got to do with Palestine Action ?' when brb posted that comment with the Bataclan Poster, was because he'd posted it in response to CK saying that Palestine action had been banned.

But I didn't, because I was about to go to bed and I didn't want to disturb the peace. So I won't be mentioning it. <whistle>

The trouble is that it usually always comes down to just a handful of people who create the tension and then eventually unleash war. Leaders who are too pig headed to compromise and negotiate, or who want land, resources and money for themselves. They set the scene and portray other countries and their people as 'the enemy', when in reality, 99% of people on this planet just want to raise their families and get along with their neighbours. They want nothing to do with war and hostility, but greedy men drag them into it, spreading fear about what will happen if we don't attack.

I also think the vast majority of people do care about the hundreds of thousands of people that have been killed in wars around the globe, but eventually it just becomes too much to keep on top of every war and every atrocity and unfortunately it becomes normalised that every year thousands of people will die unnecessarily.

It's partly why I find remembrance day so ironic, notwithstanding honouring all of those who have fought and died in wars, but the sentiment that 'We must learn from this so it never happens again' clearly isn't the case. What gets my goat about Remembrance day, is that it is the Generals and senior brass who happily stand on a podium and preach this message, when they are the ones who gladly send young men to die in the wars that they create.

Some small positive steps in the right directon....

Hamas says it has delivered a "positive response" to mediators on the latest proposal for a new Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal put forward by the US.
