Following the summer break, the return marks the start of an important pre-season period, with players set to undergo fitness testing and medical assessments ahead of a busy training schedule. Régis Le Bris and his backroom team will begin implementing their plans as the Lads build towards the start of the Premier League season, which begins on Saturday 16 August against West Ham United. I reckon we can't post any pre season welcome stuff until they've finished filming the sadiki announcement stuff - since he'll be in all the training videos. But maybe its easier to only show footage without him than I know.
Did Sadiki go away with internationals? The club said Diarra would return later because he did, so you'd think Sadiki would be in the same boat and not training yet.
