Seeing the death this morning of Diogo Jota in a car accident, made me think of Marc Bolan... although he wasn't driving on that fatal night at the young age of 29... circumstances as such led to the person that was driving on that night returning to the US... none other than the Northern Queen of Soul... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloria_Jones
There was a lass in our group of friends that was obsessed with Bolan, she went into proper mourning when he died, it was as if it was a close family member, nowadays she would have had some kind of therapy for it, she went into a real depression.
When I was young, I used to have to sometimes stay with an aunt who had three daughters (cousins), one or maybe two of them were madly into Bolan, just the same...hence why I remember his death so well, probably.
