Out of interest, if I put my ST on the ticket exchange for games I can't make, do I automatically get credit or only if the seat is sold?

Only if sold and you can only put seat on exchange if the game is sold out.

Worth noting you can only spend it on club store or home cup games etc. and that it seemingly only lasts a season.

    Pompey Sunday at 12, then.

Going to have to pay my good lady for her lost earnings, and beg for her to take the day off to have the kids <laugh>

So they announced it literally 10 minutes after I switched my laptop off <laugh>

No surprise re the skates but that Ipswich time is a killer. Might not be able to go as picking up a hire car at 8 will be pushing it somewhat to get there on time.

Wonder if they'll stop pubs opening beforehand.

Should get bubble confirmation in the next week or so hopefully.

No trains either. Bus replacements from central and earliest you can get there is 11:33.

I thought similar and then started thinking, what did they used to cost when I first started getting them in the mid-90s?

I remember it being around £30-£35 for a replica kit back then. Checking the Bank of England's inflation calculator for 1995 puts the equivalent today of being between £61.80 and £72.10. On that basis, £65 would seem reasonable (although they were never cheap even in the 90s and at least then they lasted for two seasons normally!)

What annoys me more is the kid's price ... £50! I have two sons that will inevitably want the shirt (and in the younger one's case, probably the shorts and socks too) - They've barely shaved the 20% VAT from the adult price (it would drop to ~£54). Personally I think that could drop further to more like £40.

Hard agree here. Charge what you like for the adults, because if you're willing to pay £70+ for a £5 top you're a ****ing idiot, but the kids love that ****. Make kids tops way cheaper and let parents on lower incomes afford them, and you'll sell a truckload more. It's win/win.

If I go to Ipswich I'll probably drive so that could solve your problem.

I've got a family members birthday who'll be getting told in absolute terms I'll be seeing them Saturday.
