Sound logic this and refreshing to read over the know nowt dishwater dukes on Twitter,

Whether this actually happens or not - I'd be surprised at that sort of financial commitment, but if so, and as Kalman explains, a well considered investment.

He reminds me of Abel Hernández more than anything. Same height, similar build, left-footed, quick, agile, good dribbler and a good finisher. His work-rate is exceptional too. He can play as a lone striker, in a strike partnership or as a right-winger.

It was stated in the Q&A that we were currently looking at 2 strikers - A good one, and a very good one.

Whether we can afford 7m or not though seems dubious given the affordability issues over Barry.

He looks decent on the youtube clips but having said that so did Nick Proschwitz.
If we manage to get McBurnie over the line these two could be the answer to our wishes.

Watching that I wouldn’t call him a striker, winger/provider definitely but not a striker for me. Mind the goal he scores 2 minutes in was such a good finish, he literally stroked the ball in, add to that he missed a Cpl of sitters lol, but all in all I liked what I saw.

He does look more like a winger in that video, although transfermarkd suggests he’s played a large majority of his games up front.

Not sure whether he plays in a 2 or just tends to roam about but he certainly looks a good player.

If City have indeed pulled this deal off, then someone who can score 1 in 3 is proven to me, and suspect the only reason we've got him over others is due to Sergei which is also a good sign for his influence.

He’s primarily a striker but can play as a right-winger. He played mainly as a striker this season for Westerlo and scored 13 goals in 39 games (so a goal every three games).
