Perhaps retiring the number 20 would be a nice gesture from the club. Such a tragedy, pretty stunned tbh
Can't believe it. Doesn't seem real. RIP Diogo and André. Thoughts and prayers with the whole family especially the parents, wives and children. May God give you all strength to get through this.
He was a lovely lad. More than just not being an ounce of trouble for the managers he was a real worker and put his body on the line every minute and got thumped left and right while being called a diver. Always happy and smiling so I'm sure he was a massive part of the dressing room
Imagine it’s going to be a very emotional opening game of the season with this sung around the ground after a poignant reduction of YNWA. Im sure the players and staff will have best counselling possible as well as one of their mates has suddenly gone but must be an absolute shocker for them after what was such a high season ending.
I've had to stop watching this stuff now cos it's getting to me. Just horrible Great player and a great lad no longer with us. Such a shame
Diogo Jota's Liverpool FC career in photos - Silverware, celebrations and adoration - Liverpool FC - This Is Anfield https://share.google/4zMZaDVyIUR4LIKko This got to me, I'll admit.
Geordie fan in peace. Such sad news for him and his family. And to you Liverpool fans (and Wolves) who will feel like they have lost someone also. RIP.
**** thing to happen to anyone at any time but to happen just 2 weeks after his wedding at the age of 28 is bollocks. His kids, wife, parents and siblings have just had their world crushed...losing two sons, a dad and an uncle, a husband and a brother in law and 2 brothers at once is cruel. I'm sure the fans of all his clubs are in shock that someone who was always described as generous and kind has died way too early. RIP
Insanity. I just can't fathom this at all. Hope we can do a pre-season friendly with Wolves to raise some money for both families, and to commemorate his legacy.
Yep. Getting off social media, turning the telly off, and going for a long afternoon walk in my Liverpool shirt. Didn't get up until 11 am, but frazzled and choking now. May go over to see family at the weekend and take a shirt with me to Anfield. But for now, just can't take anymore.
Going to remember him like this, such a happy player who was a proper pain in the arse for defenders. Had the skill and the finishing to go with it.
