Well Shubman Gil didn't think much of that over!

Perhaps too early to start getting annoyed, but....this innings so far is a rather nice encapsulation as to what frustrates me about this current England team, I feel we got away with it at headingley due to dropped catches by India in our first innings, but ultimately deserved to win with an incredible 4th innings chase, we've come to edgbaston and chose to field again based on a 'thats how we play' approach, and it's this inflexible attitude that irritates me. Rather than coming into this test on the back of a great win, judging the conditions and choosing to bat first we've rocked up said this is how we play we'll bowl and back ourselves to chase again. I may be wrong, it may work out....but there have been numerous examples of the bravado and hubris of this team costing us

Brook off, Root on. India'll be quaking in their boots! Although saying that he does pick up wickets now and again.
