All I'm saying is I haven't read any reports about us being close to signing Amad so that's evidence we are going to unveil him soon

 

My guess is (just a guess, no ITK at all) is that we bid for him, had talks with him that went well and looked really positive only for the Saudis to come in and offer ridiculous money. We've came back with an improved offer, which was thought likely until the Saudi deal was put on the table properly.

So, next season, he can look forward to playing at a stadium marginally better than Ryhope CW's, that has one stand and is situated on the outskirts of the town in the desert (I've looked it up on Google earth), rather than play Infront of 40k+ crowds in the most high profile league in the world. I've actually looked this club up, you can't get an average attendance for them for last season as their crowds were so low they didn't have figures for them.
