That's a fair point. The 'characters' who post the same things, relentlessly, seem to be compelled to post on every thread. Quite often they're posting about things they have no real interest in but swamp the thread with things that are barely relevant and barely funny despite them finding themselves hilarious. It must be murder for posters who go on to comment on matches, signings, etc, only to see the inevitable flurry of drivel from the likes of Fetch Fletch, HKP, etc. Strangely they always seem to have a sarcastic opinion of SAFC, the manager, owner, etc but also most posters who aren't in their little clique. They also seem to have little interest in football and Sunderland in general ... ... sad little people.
The number of poster on there whose only reason for being there is to talk ****e is frankly astonishing. I toyed with the idea of putting them on ignore but realised there was no point as it would make the majority of threads unreadable. I've developed a filter to simply ignore the idiots and WUMs , unless there's something I can pull them up for The good posters are becoming fewer and fewer and the egotistical bellends are growing exponentially. It doesn't help that a couple of the moderators are racist bellends who are enablers to some of the pond life on there. Used to be a great board, now not so much.
It's like my gran used to say. First time it's funny, second time it's not... Third time's a slap! The same phrases have been used so many times that any good will has been exhausted. Meaningless catchphrases now.
I enjoyed Fetch Fletch's posts but he's well and truly stuck in a bubble. Neighbourhood Watch, the clique that has developed around Pancho, is slowly strangling the site. The same ones publically shame other posters or say "All you have to do is obey the rules" knowing full well the rules only apply to other posters.
It's incredible how many posts someone can make that are neither informative, interesting or witty ... ... even by the law of averages you'd think they'd manage something now and again. What they miss is that some posters like Cheeses, Harry Angstrom, Confucius, etc, are missed when they don't post and people ask after them. The 'clique' wouldn't be missed if they never posted again because their 'contribution' is just endless waffle. I'd guess that 50% of their posts are comments about other posters or sarcasm about people's posts. It's really poor crack whatever it is.

I can't remember, I had a lot of personal stuff going on around then and didn't visit the site much, but it could have been him. I always thought that when a load of them turned on Methven and Donald that they did it not out of genuine anger or concern about how the club was being run, but more that they saw how the majority of the fanbase were starting to move against those two, so joined in to be "right".
Shock horror, match thread tonight done by the bot and a mod posting on the thread which is rare. Colour me suprised
There's a dozen or so posters that have ruined the board and been actively allowed to. Most of us know who they are. The bot posting thousands of twitter and club website links, taking over match threads, the prediction leagues and the cricket forum, to name but a few. The two people mentioned by name on here, one of who was tracked down due to abuse they were posting. Chops stalking of Hank. Jeff and old fella continually allowed to post lies. Still some.good posters on there, but it's become a cesspit.
