Exactly, in the pool we’re fishing in, let’s be honest, I’m sure he would have been pretty much the top of our wanted list.
Now compare that record to Wells over the last 3 years. This guy has cost nothing in terms of a transfer fee, and is 8 years younger than Wells, so has to be worth a punt. Why is everyone so negative, who did you expect, us to sign Harry Kane…..
Who many are you playing up front? If Bell can find his scoring boots again, I would think even him would be better alongside Riis. Got good pace and would benefit from Riis bullying defenders. Hoping Struber can put Bell back onto the path Pearson had him on. But would not surprise me if nothing else happens Mayulu starts alongside him.
To be fair i think this guy could be a cracking signing-got one hell of a shot on him. Quick for a big guy as well. Just what is required.
You’ve answered your own question to that theory. Let’s wait and see if it was a personal issue with Mayulu. Armstrong I wouldn’t think Gandalf or Harry Potter have a chance with. But hopefully I’m eating my words this season.
Two winners and two losers as Emil Riis makes the switch to Bristol City following Preston North End departure https://eflanalysis.com/opinion/two...l-city-following-preston-north-end-departure/
well NAHKI scored 29 goals in last 3 seasons most of his game time was not full games and usually latter the 20 mins of the game except last season both have scored 43 in last 5 seasons
I think Nahki could have been offered a role as an assistant striker coach or something similar. The younger players looked up to him as a role model. He had a big influence in the dressing room.
It’s a balance isn’t it, getting his wages of the wage bill allows scope for others, I don’t disagree with you mind, just being pragmatic.
Wells was the altime highest paid player at city-earnt a fortune and did nothing in the first three years. rather have our new number 9
