And yeah I agree that the people killed at Nova and elsewhere that day deserve to be commemorated and should be included in the same condemnation of the slaughter of innocent people. I don't care which flag you're waving, if you gun down innocent people, then you are scum.

I also think this Israeli Govt deserve all of the heat that they are getting at the moment and the pressure on them needs to be kept front and centre.

At best, they’ve had a very rare mention and usually after me or brb have asked why you lot only focus on what the Jewish people and Israel are doing whilst not giving a **** at worse atrocities happening elsewhere in the world.

 

I agree with you that no other conflict draws so much attention... but most conflicts currently going on on the world are internal and in the case of Somalia a civil war between seemingly equally armed factions.

What differentiates what Israel has done in Gaza since Oct 7th is the extent of the devastatuon to a foreign land - and that a whole people have seemingly been targeted and no structure or institution, medical, educational or religious, has been spared - for the actions of a few terrorists - and that they have used colossal US backed force against an enemy armed with rockets, RPGs and hand-held guns ...

There is no real equivalence to that scenario currently taking place in the world...

protests outside the embassy of :

- China, regarding the alleged treatment of the Uyghurs
- Myanmar, regarding the alleged treatment of the Rohingya

Why is that?

Why were you so silent then but SO LOUD now?

Can it be that you are finally raising a flag and creating chaos because you only hate that the perpetrators are Jews?

Because you obviously don't care when millions of Arabs are killed by other Arabs.

Can it be that you storming the streets is just you venting out your hatred towards Jews? The same hatred we learned in our mosques and schools?

You speak of ”numbers and proportionality.” But by the rules of proportionality, you should not be raising Palestinian flags.

I also level the same exact charges against Jews.

The Nazi atrocities were supposed to be a "never again" event.
I dont recall Jews, Israeli or not, protesting en masse against the
atrocities of the :

- Khymer rouge in Cambodia
- Hutu people in Rwanda
- etc

 

It’s on the news now that Sudan has the biggest humanitarian crisis in the world. We’ll have to virtue signal our way over there now and forget about Gaza for a while.

I personally couldn’t give a **** but if you’re going to pretend to care about a humanitarian crisis and war, then at least keep that equal for what’s happening around the world and not just when Jews are involved.
