Pubes was a good egg until @Smudger603 bullied him off.

 

We've been a friendly little band for a while now, not even a whisper of politics.

 

I've bumped the politics thread a couple of times just to remind folks it's there. But there isn't much appetite for it at the moment.

Most of us are happy we went up and are looking forward to next season. Even me (a little).
Having said that, Summer can be silly season.

Has Global really given Royston the boot again?

I have recently been on the blower to Kojak and after he got things off his chest about everyday life he was very uncomplimentary about the moderating abilities of @lardiman
I quote "Lardiman is to moderating what Harold Shipman was to the penicillin industry"

 

Because - having explained the forum rules at the time until I was blue in the face, he insisted on continuing to break them.
So I had the audacity to delete (as in hide from view) half a dozen of his posts.

Then bizarrely just before he left in March, he posted a message approving of my reinstatement by brb as moderator (after Dick left).
And in the same post proceeded to advise me what my first "Executive order" should be.

Methinks his perception of the right way to moderate is based on the way Donald Trump runs the USA.
Mods are not supposed to be dictators or cult leaders.
Throwing your weight around and banning people left, right & centre is not a sign of strong or good moderation.
Global (for instance) is not a moderator, he's a bully and a tyrant.
That's fair enough, ITTV is his creation and he can run it however he likes.
But (again bizarrely) Global appears to get more respect from Royston than I ever will, despite the Sheriff getting banned from ITTV a dozen times.

I've never banned him, never issued a warning to him, never taken any action against him whatsoever.
Only temporarily hid a few of his posts.
Hardly makes me Kim Jong Un does it?
Well according to him it does.

Kojak is still welcome on Not606 Charlton if he wants to contribute.
But if he doesn't wish to that's fine.
And if it's because he can't swallow his pride, that isn't my problem.
