Bits. He definitely has potential and his style fits a high press like Still plays. There's obviously some risk as he's only 20 and has never played in England but I'm on board with signing him.

I like the signing personally. Fits the profile that Spors and Still are wanting to instil this season. Young, strong, physical presence and wants to play to get into the USA team for their home World Cup next season.
Think he will be a real handful in the championship, and will hopefully grow and improve under Will’s coaching?

We already knew we wanted him - there is no mention of an accepted bid or personal terms being discussed. Wouldn't get too carried away.

Yeah happy enough with the little I know about him. Unless a few players leave who I am not expecting to I’m happy with our striker options anyway so fine with signing a young option to develop

I think it will be more interesting to see who leaves and who stays. I can see a similar situation to our last season in the Championship with big names departing into the beginning of the campaign. Not expecting much news in the first half of July.

Yeah, good luck to teams trying to sign our players on the cheap. I actually think 19mill is a reasonable offer. I think that if reports are saying we don't need to raise funds good luck trying to sign Dibling or Fernandes.

He cost more than that last year and we apparently don’t need to sell. Opening offer perhaps ? But not a surprise that we think he’s worth more

Why would we sell for less than we paid just 1 year ago? He is really well thought of in the England youth set up, has earned his first senior cap and has a year PL experience now too. It doesn't sound as though he is forcing a move so if we do sell, I'd think it will be £30m+.

Good shout. Maybe we could use a bit of our transfer budget to pay someone to get him out of the building.

Young with potential, England international, long contract, we just paid £20m a year ago. Not a great season in the PL by any standards, but in a poor team and managed poorly so I don't think that will have too much of an impact.
I'd expect us to be looking for £25-30m sort of range.
