Tbh I haven't listened to the new one yet. But you're right that album was really good. Her show was good too when I went. I struggle to get into new stuff. I try then give up and put my go to stuff on or a podcast
Robert Smith is great but I'll have a skim through that set tomorrow. Not turning over fro Prodigy. Can't say they're my thing even really, but this is class!
I had to flip it off as the brightest coming through my TV was burning into my eyes ! I'll keep it for a Saturday night with beers
I get that mind, all of my senses are on edge watching it but this is something else. One of the great Glastonbury performances I reckon.
Absolutely unbelievable from The Prodigy!!! Loved every second and wish I was there. Should be headliners proper for me.
I was really impressed by Wolf Alice, not listened to much of them but bit of a weird one for me as I’m friends with the lad that a lot of their recent songs are apparently written about. Not necessarily in a particularly complimentary way either.
Totally agree. That performance was something else, they absolutely nailed it. It was relentless, the energy just came through the TV to me and never dropped, I feel exhausted just watching it, Christ knows what it must have been like there! For me they've stolen the whole show this year.
It's incredible how many top songs they have in their bag. An ex of mine years ago saw them in a pub before they hit the big time, said they were unbelievable, the small crowd didn't know what hit them. Nice to see they still have that type of energy! Think Maxim is about 60 now!
They are in a small group of bands I want to see but never done it. My 13yr has just asked if I'd take him to see them The top of that list are the Stones. My brother got me tickets for my 30th years ago and I refused. I didn't want to go down to Hyde Park, be at the back and come away with a negative experience.
Didn't think Olivia Rodrigo was great singing live but fair play she had the stage presence to finish it off nicely.
