It’s all subjective mate. I’ve gathered with my personal experience from travelling is every city has its nice and **** places, some cities are just bigger. I don’t think one city stands a mile above anywhere else Actually, most of Birmingham is an utter ****hole.
It’s a shame players don’t look to actually benefit their footballing career anymore. They’re more bothered about what the missus thinks.
This is why we're pissing against the wind trying to compete for players like Pedro. They're already established in the PL.
Was Howes claim of getting things done early a sign of why. Think about it. We should have got these deals over the line but we have pissed about and lost all of his choices. He must be furious.
£157 m triple transfer deals for us coming up ! already got a fantastic midfielder in yesterday, happy days in December a different team will face you
But for foreign players growing up in Brazil they’ve prob only ever heard of London. It’s like someone fro UK moving to Australia, majority are going to pick Melbourne or Sydney, Munich in Germany, if going to Slovenia, prob going to go Bratislava. There are 100s of places that are prob nicer to live in all these countries but majority of foreign people only know the big cities.
Not a chance lad, if I was Brazilian I’d be looking straight for Grimsby. nah in all seriousness I get what you mean, just irritating having lived there and experienced it myself.
Saving this for future reference. I'm starting to suspect that the club is now totally clueless and useless in the transfer market since Amanda Staveley moved on. F*ckin' this window up will confirm it!
C a jug by We were 5th, won the League Cup and are in the Champion's League - we are definitely competing with the big 6. The fact that we can't compete with them for the big signings but can still do it on the field is a good thing surely.
We had a good season but revenues will dictate the reality. The status quo will return unfortunately and we have to be prepared to fall away and have seemingly more difficult seasons. I don't think the vast majority of the fanbase are prepared and won't take it all into consideration.
I'm not particularly interested in what Howe says in press conferences mind. He's put on a spot and waffles most the time. There's quite a large number of fans that hang on every word and action from Howe. Their obsession is so strong that anything that goes well is down to his greatness and anything that goes wrong is someone else's fault and they must be burnt. It appears to me that people make pictures out of clouds and over time it becomes fact within the masses. Its still early in the window now, but people simply assumed he meant the 1st window.
I mean, yes to the rest but Camden I've twice been held up at knife point. Not my favorite bit of landan tawn in fairness. But I wasn't doing anything I could call the police for help sooo there is that caveat. Get's a bad rap but it is a lovely city in the main (hence all the tourism) but like everywhere there are bits that you probably don't want to go in the dark.
Like the last time you spent big after getting into the Prem and got the world beaters than were Michael Chopra and Kenwyne Jones.
Trafford could be done today apparently. We might want it in this year for PSR, who knows. Romano says it's close. Our speed on transfers is blinding - this one's barely been 10 months.
